“In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable,” Spears says in the new issue of Glamour magazine.

In another apparent jab at K-Fed, Ms. Spears says, “It’s hard doing it on your own.”

But potential suitors beware—Spears is not the wild child party girl you may want her to be. Even though she had an early birthday celebration last night at club G-A-Y in London, the comeback pop princess swears she’s over that scene.

“I don’t like going out,” Spears tells writer James Patrick Herman. “I hate clubs. I hate being around too many people. I love my home and staying in bed and watching Dancing With the Stars or reading a Danielle Steel novel. I’m kind of boring.”

We beg to differ. The last year or so has been anything but boring.

With headshaving and hospital visits behind her, Spears’ life really took a turn for the better when she picked up three moonman statues at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. “When I received the awards and [the audience] stood for me, it showed how much love is out there,” she says.

For now, Spears moves on with her international promotional push for her new album Circus before launching a world tour sometime next year. She’s also got some New Years resolutions to take care of.

“I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time,” she says. “And to learn how to be happier, just in general. I have to learn to take things not so seriously. And to stop biting my nails.”

As I was the first to report, Ms. Spears was shot for the January issue, on newsstands Dec. 9, by Patrick Demarchelier in Los Angeles. This won’t be her only Glamour cover. A rep for magazine says she will also appear on several international editions.

Showing off an impressive lung capacity, Britney then extinguished every flame bar one with a single blow.

The comeback babe looked back to her sexy best at the club, smiling and waving at screaming revellers in an armless T-shirt.

However her mood may have taken a turn for the worse this morning when she was presented with the scathing reviews of her X Factor performance.

Britney was criticised for miming her way through her song Womanizer and shying away from her complex dance routines of old.

The pop star will celebrate her 27th birthday on 2 December (08) with the release of her highly-anticipated comeback album, “Circus”.

NYP confirms an all-out bash at star-studded nightclub Tenjune. A source tells the newspaper her party will be “a very private, Circus-theme event”. Britney will reportedly start off her day by taking over American TV sets with an eye-popping performance on chat show Good Morning America.

Britney Spears has invited superfans to Times Square “Circus” Bash. Contestants in ‘Britney’s Greatest Fan Contest’ can win tickets to her ‘Good Morning America’ performance. Her grand birthday celebrations have much more in store.

Britney.com and Buzznet are sponsoring a Photoshop contest in which fans are invited to slip themselves into one of Buzznet’s Circus-themed layouts, with the singer’s label judging the best efforts and awarding a popcorn machine and other Britney-related prizes. And if none of that floats your boat, since Spears’ birthday happens to be December 2, she’s also invited fans to sing “Happy Birthday” to her and post it on YouTube. The winning entry may get posted on Brit’s YouTube channel.
